Michelle Little, for several years head of the STORI oral history program at Samford, was of great help to me in my own oral history work. Among other things she assembled a team to help me do a video and audio documentary of the Audubon Mountain Workshop (resulting video can be found on YouTube, “Celebrating the History of the Birmingham Audubon Mountain Workshop”). More recently, when my church put together a committee to preserve the oral histories of older members and the committee needed some practical advice on techniques and technologies, she was the one person I suggested they bring in. She’s personable, articulate, responsible and has lots and lots of practical experience in the field.
